By purchasing a license for usage of SDExplorer Advanced Edition you receive:
- More powerful and functional way to work with your OneDrive (SkyDrive) documents than ones provided in the free edition SDExplorer Base;
- Technical support and timely updates of the program;
- Enhancing and optimization of old functions plus new possibilities constantly done by OneDrive team are momentarily reflected in SDExplorer Advanced updates.
Starting from the version 3.0 of SDExplorer Advanced we additionally offer two new licensing types: the per-user license and the per-PC license. The per-user license intends the right to install up to 3 copies of SDExplorer Advanced on any computers owned by a licensee. The per-PC license offers a single activation on one computer that unlimited number of persons can work with.
The license you purchase is time unlimited, but the period of updates (or new versions) of SDExplorer Advanced you can install for free is limited to 1 year since the day of purchase.

What does free updates period mean?
For instance, you have purchased a license for SDExplorer Advanced at January 8, 2017. You have the right to download and install all published updates and new versions released within a year since that date, that is, until January 8, 2018. If say at January 12, 2018 a new update for SDExplorer Advanced will be released, you won't be able to install it unless you purchase a license renewal. Or you can stay with your current version if you wish.
We would like to underscore this again: the free updates period expiry doesn't mean you can't continue using SDExplorer Advanced and doesn't make it stop functioning. This date only sets the period following which you can't install new updates, but your installed version continues working as before.
How do I choose the suitable license type?
If you're a home user, and own several computers and/or notebooks, the license you need is likely a Single User License so you could activate SDExplorer on up to 3 PCs. If you only have one computer and you don't plan to install SDExplorer on other computers you can benefit from purchasing a Single PC License instead.
If you're a corporate client or a representative of an educational or other institution that suggests using of a computer by unlimited and undefined number of people, you should choose a Single PC License. The number of purchased license must meet the number of computers you activate the program on. You can choose the desired number of licenses at the order processing page at Avangate. If I purchase 2 Single User licenses how many computers I can activate SDExplorer on?
In this case, the number of purchased licenses is multiplied by the number of possible activations of each license, that is, you can activate SDExplorer Advanced on 6 PCs.
Are there any functional differences between different license types?
No, the functionality of SDExplorer Advanced doesn't depend on the license type.
I've just purchased a license for SDExplorer Advanced. How do I activate it?
After purchasing a license and transferring of funds to our E-commerce provider Avangate, within short amount of time (usually about 10-15 minutes) you should receive a message with the activation code (see the figure below).
Memorize this code or copy it to the clipboard, then type it in the activation dialog of SDExplorer. You can bring up the activation dialog in several possible ways; choose the most convenient to you:
Right-click an empty area of the SDExplorer window and choose the "Enter Activation Code" command.
In the trial expiration window answer "Yes" on the question of whether or not you have an activation number.
Click the "Enter Activation Code" button in the trial reminder window.
IMPORTANT: the activation process requires your computer to be connected to Internet.
Will my license stay after I reinstall my system or change hardware configuration?
Yes, but you will need to deactivate your license first while you're still with your old system. To do this, please run SDExplorer. Then hold the Shift button and right-click an empty area in the SDExplorer window. In the context menu select the "Deactivate License" command. After reinstalling your system run the SDExplorer activation wizard again.
